Idea Quarzo

Ready to use impregnating protective agent, solvent based, suitable for protective treatment of quartz surfaces. IDEA QUARZO intensifies the natural color of material, has good penetration, does not form a film on the surface. It does not turn yellow, is perfect for treating indoor or outdoor surfaces, it is water and dirt resistant. Tests carried out in laboratories demonstrate resistance to UV rays. The treated stone does not change its color after long exposure to UV rays. It prevents formation of mildew. It can be used for treatment of quartz-resin agglomerates. It is the suitable product to treat kitchen and vanity top.

  • Instruction for use:

    Surface must be clean, dry, without any trace of dirt; stone to be treated must not contain salts (sulfates, chlorides and nitrates) since their presence reduces the absorption. Stains, mildew, crusting must be scraped off otherwise they will be harder to remove after protection.
    Apply IDEA QUARZO without any dilution, using a cotton or microfiber cloth. Apply necessary quantity up to complete absorption. After 10/15 minutes, remove excess of product with an absorbing cloth. The product can also be applied on the production line.
    During application and subsequent drying, temperature of the substrate should be between 10 and 30°C. In case of application on floor with underfloor heating system turn off heating and allow the stone to cool completely.

  • Coverage:

    For the treatment of polished quartz, one liter of product can treat around 50 sqm (540 sq.ft.) of material.
