EPOX PREMIUM

EPOX PREMIUM is a premium two-component epoxy adhesive with a 2:1 mixing ratio, formulated with cycloaliphatic amine curing agents to provide outstanding colour stability and excellent resistance to yellowing. It is specifically developed for bonding, laminating, visible mitring, filling
and repairing horizontal and vertical surfaces made of marble, granite, natural stone, engineered stone, terrazzo, porcelain stoneware (gres), ceramics, concrete and other masonry materials. The cured adhesive provides excellent mechanical strength, slight flexibility, minimal shrinkage and outstanding resistance to weathering, UV exposure and a wide range of chemical substances, including solvents, alkaline solutions, dilute acids and seawater. Its smooth, creamy consistency, low VOC content and excellent workability make it ideal for bonding and filling larger cavities, chips and surface imperfections in natural and engineered stone. The liquid (flowing) version is particularly suitable for filling cracks, fissures and micro-porosities, while maintaining excellent adhesion on horizontal surfaces prior to polishing. EPOX PREMIUM can be pigmented using BELLINZONI EPOBEL, specifically formulated for colouring epoxy adhesives.

Method of use :
ALWAYS TEST PRODUCT FIRST following the below indications, before proceeding with the complete product application. Ensure that surfaces to be treated are completely dry and clean, free of dirt, dust, grime and surface incrustations. Sand surfaces, if possible, before use.
1. Thoroughly clean and slightly roughen surfaces to be bonded
2. If colouring is required, mix BELLINZONI EPOBEL pigment directly into part A, up to a maximum weight of 5% in volume before mixing in part B.
3. Mix two parts together following the indicated ratio 2:1 in volume or in weight. For small jobs mix small amounts at a time. Mix thoroughly so to obtain a homogeneous mass.
4. Apply to area using a spatula, applying evenly the mixture to the substrate and fix for drying.
Notes: For optimum workability, prepare small batches of approximately 250–300 g at a time. The mixed adhesive remains workable for approximately 20–30 minutes at 20°C. Bonded parts may be carefully handled after approximately 6–8 hours at 20°C. The adhesive reaches a sufficient degree of cure for further processing, including grinding and polishing, after approximately 14–16 hours at 20°C. Full mechanical and chemical properties are achieved after 7 days at 20°C. Do not apply the product at temperatures below 10°C. Clean tools and application equipment immediately after use with acetone before the adhesive has cured.
Notes and advantages: Crystal-clear, colourless formulation. Minimal shrinkage during curing. Excellent resistance to alkaline substances, making it particularly suitable for bonding concrete and cement-based materials. Recommended for bonding solvent-sensitive materials, as the product is solvent-free. Low VOC formulation, compliant with applicable European regulations. Excellent laminating properties, ideal for sandwich panel and stone lamination applications. Store the product in its original, tightly closed container.
