POROSIL

Solvent based, colour enhancer and water/oil repellent specific for marble and granite slabs. Highly recommended for use in an industrial phase on polished slabs and surfaces to hide potential
defects, webbing, micro fissures and natural blemishes in material supplying a homogeneous colour and shine. Application protects materials from general surface stains and supplies anti-static properties. Product does not leave plastic effects or surface films. Breathable and resistant to UV, rain, mould and atmospheric conditions.

  • Method of use :

    Preparations of the stone: surface to be treated must be dry, clear of cements, mould, dirt, which must be removed prior application.

    Application on slabs, strips and tiles with automatic machines:

    Set the dispenser (similar to the waxing machine) to apply drops of POROSIL to the material, distribute the product evenly on the entire surface with the machine brush then buff it. The products dries immediately therefore it is possible to store the stone as usual.

    Application by hand on slabs, strips and tiles:

    Drop a little POROSIL on horizontally placed slabs and distribute it evenly using a paper buffer or a white clean cloth; after 30 - 60 second “pull” the product with a dry paper towel. The stone can be handled immediately without compromising the final results. The consolidation will be completed after  4 - 5 days from the application.

    Application on the floor:

    Drop a little POROSIL on the floor and spread it evenly with a white cotton cloth or paper towel. After few seconds buff it with a clean cloth or polisher equipped with a white woolen felt. For easy handling we recommend to treat the floor by area of about cm 50 x 200 at a time.

  • Coverage:

    For the protection of polished marble and granite, one liter of product can treat  30 to 40 sqm (320/430 sq.ft.), depending on the absorption and degree of finish of the material.
